Be Safe, The Car is About to Explode!

"Be Safe, it is about to explode" my friend M. R said when he started narrating to me how his trip to Iraq was. My friends words jump into my mind once I read about UK booby-trapped cars. Actually this news gets me in a surprise. Till now I do not find the reasons beyond that. Why? Is it Violence? Revenge ? Object? Or a Fuss? What is the gain beyond killing innocent people in such a way? What stops me a lot is my friend's question:" Tell me what you will do if you are so near to a car about to explode?!" It's a question that could be hardly answered. Want to hear from you

money and beneift tha could be a part of the game. But the big side is still there . i think it is a way of taking " Revenge ". they try to say their " NO" but in this so bloody way "This is the worst time I have ever experienced in my life," my friend who witnessed the cat bomb told me. Does anyone witness a car bom before?

When it is in London they are heroes and dismantle just seconds before "hundreds cut to peaces" ,but in Iraq all goes off.Aren't they the architect behind this game?? Probably because car bombs are not the norm in the UK so they have the resources to deal with them, unlike Iraq where car/truck bombs are a daily occurrence and a huge lack of resources to deal with them. Common sense really.

My answer is, if I know that this car is about to explode, I will shout out loud and ask everyone arround to run away becasue this car will explode, then I will call the police as soon as possible. But this is what I will do if I am in UK, but if I am in an Arab country such as, Jordan, Egypt or Morocco, I will run away of the car and try to make up a fuss (as someone is trying to rob my money) to get the people away of the car. Of course, you wonder why won't I say frankly (this car will explode). Because I am sure that the police there will arrest me and claim that I am the one who wanted to explode this car, and I am a terrorist. This is their easiest way to solve a case, it is to find a escape-goat, not the real criminal. Also, they may arrest all my family and send all of us to the jail.

You should forward these questions to Bush and his Christian army who slaughtered ,raped, burned millions of innocent muslims in revenge of 9/11.

One our great problems is this form of polarised thinking in Islam. Not everything is so "black and white". Many Muslims live happily in London BY CHOICE, away from the primitive forms of persecution in their native lands. A bomb in central London would most definately kill Muslims, as well as the so-called crusaders (another polarising and primitive world-view). There are definate problems with US and European foreign policy (big ones), but there are political solutions. There is no provision for this type of slaughter of the faithful in the Qur'an. All those that find hatred in the Qur'an, I pray for them.

Salams, If you referring to the barbaric infighting and how some Muslims end up persecuting others in the name of religion then you may have to go a long way back in history for track record. I think a good question to start from is, how do some Muslims end up with persecuting others? Where did the persecution start? And it won't be an easy answer.
Iraq, Palestine, Chechnya and Afghanistan have had an ordeal to deal with unlike those living comfortably in the west. The wars were perpetrated by the West and not the other way around as some would like many to believe.
I don't agree with dehumanizing all Muslims and Islam in native lands and labelling them as "primitive" or "persecutors". Indigenous people are not terrorists nor are they totally ignorant about life, morals and empathy. As a matter of fact we may have a lot to learn from them instead.
If you are still comfortable living in the west, thank these "Primitive" Muslims out there who know how to mind their own business and don't terrorize the world.
If those who are oppressed followed three principles set by the Quran, 1) struggling against injustice 2) and oppression, 3) also changing oneself to the better, then perhaps there would be a chance for world peace, but that would never happen if there is outside interference (think western politics), lack of resources, lack of education, and lack of support from those who claim themselves to be Muslims.

I think the better question is how could a doctor ever believe that a car filled with just some "gasoline tanks" would blow up an airport?

Why just not ask "how could they blow up the entire city of Glasgow with a car bomb?" The bomb was obviously designed to kill some people in the airport. NOT destroy the airport. I think you need to ask some serious questions of yourself. Salaams BB

It is desturbing to think that people dedicated to saving human life could justify this type of random murder. I suppose some can resolve what we may see as opposing ideologies. BB
