Hello, dear moderators. I like your question as it opens the space for a large discussion. I am convinced it's not necessary to be a religious think tank to have some essential ideas on the issue. "what it is like to be a religious astronaut?" The same thing as being religious man living on the Earth. Many people mix the notions of "world" and "Earth". The Creator created the Universe, "the world", not only the Earth. In our human condition we can't "go out" of the Universe, no matter where we get. God is beyong matter, which means He hasn't its " visible headquarters" neither on the Moon, neither on Mars. The "best" evidence for the atheistic Bolshevik propaganda against the religion was that the astronauts went in space and didn't find God. I liked very much this communist laughing stock. The faith and the authentic worship are somewhat similarly, beyond the matter, as the religion, as its very name suggest, is destined to search bridges of man to the Almighty. This thread is important to urge people to better understanding of the sense of our lives and our relation to the Universe. Best wishes from Kirilova.
