For those who are still not sure why and how this conflict started more than 60 years ago, confessions of Israeli leaders make it very clear. For those who already know, this video is a good tool to educate others.

Maryam - I think it is you who are not understanding what happened sixty years ago. You should really read the UN Resolution 181, Nov. 29 1947. For those who are not sure why and how this conflict started more than sixty years ago. Precis:- 1. Britain to terminate their Mandate 1 August 1948 2. Independant states of Israel and Palestine to come into existance not later than 1 October 1948 What happened ? Israel declared their existance and the surrounding Arab countries declared war on her from which many of the Arabs in Israel fled. Israel won the war - but since then various Arab countries have attacked her again and again, leaving the Arab Palestinian refugees in a state of flux. All the Palestinian woes begin with their Arab neighbours not standing back to let the Palestinian Arabs sort out their own state in 1948 alongside Israel. The poster does not relate to 1948 - many things have happened since then but "confessions" of modern Israelly leaders have nothing to do with what happened sixty years ago. The Israeli leaders are merely trying to defend the country which was legally given to them by the UN in 1947.

Balfour Declaration Statement issued by the British government in 1917, which is often seen as the initiation of the process leading to the establishment of the State of Israel. Issuing of the statement is believed to have been motivated just as much by British interests, as by the sympathy for the Zionist cause. At the eve of the World War I Britain needed the support from the World Jewry, which had been neutral, and which represented a large part of the population of Germany and Austria-Hungary. The declaration was drafted with the help of US President, Woodrow Wilson, who was a strong supporter of Zionism.http://www.bushstole04.com/newworld/balfour.htm

"His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a National Home for the Jewish people, "His Majesty was giving something that does not belong to him, something that he does not own to someone who does not deserve it. On the other hand "his Majesty said 'a National Home', which means a place where they can stay, he never said 'a country'.

Maryam - I think it is you who are not understanding what happened sixty years ago. Am I? I’ve been living under occupation since 1948, what about you? Or maybe you have nothing else to say!

Its time for Arabs to show some compassion for the Palestinans and provide them with education and food. Stop the hate and weapons and move forward.

So it all started in 1948, when the Arab countries decided to go to war against Israel... Just becuase they wanted to?
SO it has nothing to do with the decision of the Zionist organization to create an exclusively Jewish state on a land that had another people.
So the conflict has nothing to do with "we must remove the Arabs (Palestinians) and take their place"...
Nothing to do with the ethnic cleasnsing that started months before the 1948 war...
Please do not recite the official Israeli version of what happened and how all this started.
