After the fraudulent round of Afghan elections; a new round will be held on the 7th of November between the 2 main candidates: Hamid Karzai and Abdullah Abduallah.

Amid the surge strategy that is being discussed in Washington, and the major escalation in violence in the country; will this election, even with new results and a new winner, mean anything for the ordinary Afghanis in their daily life?

Do you see any difference between Karzai and Abduallah, as both of them praise the presence of the occupying forces in the country?

Who on earth thinks that any of Abdllah or Karzai will make any difference in a country that the ballot boxes are carried by donkeys to be counted?

Well at the last voting, one person would be selected to fill out ALL the ballots for the whole town and with Karzai’s soldiers standing behind him with guns and watching over his shoulder he was hardly going to put down anybody else’s name but Karzai’s was he?

The whole ‘election’ was a joke & the run-off will be no different!

It is a matter of who is the most corruptible, and as Karzai’s brother is well known as the most corrupt businessman in Afghanistan, Karzai will most probably win by a landslide.

Who was the Afghan election held for America or the people of Afghanistan?

The election in Afghanistan is an example of an election without substance or legitimacy. Its sole intention was not to elect a president of Afghanistan but put in a place a ruler or puppet for the United States to rule through. The election was to create legitimacy for US support of Karzai. The election was held more for the American public a side show to Obamas deepening embroilment in Afghanistan than for the Afghan people.

Will A New Afghan Election Mean Anything for Afghans? No

Acually a system implemented by force in country like Afghanistan where the culture and tradition of the people is different from the West will never work. Most Afghans define democracy as a foreign import associated with Western values.

The ordinary Afghans are weary of war and the only thing they ever crave for is job opportunities, peace and security sans any foreign presence.

The low turn out in the first round speaks volumns.

**** ASSALAMU ALAI KUM *****

There is no difference between these two.. They are American Puppets

This is a pure form of democracy that western countries have wished for Muslim nations.

They don’t want themselves to be called as oppressors … They wanted to install these puppet democracies

Word democracy is always a joke for me as I am living in India and it considers itself to be a largest democracy of the world (What a joke)

I have witnessed elections where there were no voters but the govt. was formed.Rest of the world never came to know about it . What kind of democracy is this. Politicians playing all games to gain vote bank and shedding innocent blood

These politicians are no less than a terrorist

Westerners don’t need to be happy . They don’t have any right to call themselves democratic countries if they have good plans for their own people and Bad for others.
