Media Endorsing Obama.. Confirming Victory?

The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times, two of the most influential US newspapers, announced that they will back Barack Obama to become the next US president, praising his leadership abilities despite his relative inexperience.
Obama also picked up hometown support from the Chicago Tribune marking the first time since its founding in 1847 that it comes out for a democratic candidate.
The 3 newspapers editorials took to 51 the number of US newspapers endorsing Obama so far in the November, 4 elections against 16 endorsing McCain, according to a tally by the Editor and Publisher trade journal.
Obama also is still topping the polls results after the final debate. Does such step confirms that Obama will be the first black president of America?
Do you expect any surprises that will shake Obama's position and turn the matters for McCain?

As an intelligent Muslim, I make it a point to vote only as I am told to do so by influential newspapers and I urge all of my multitude of friends and cousins to do likewise. As we always say, As Maine goes, so goes the nation.

Frankly I won’t believe anything until ‘the party’s over & the fat lady sings’, and am still awaiting the ‘October surprise’ as no action is beneath the Republicans. The latest flood of robo-tex messages accusing Obama of everything under the sun is just one of the things they are trying in order to achieve a swing. If this fails I would not be the least surprised if some unhinged red-neck takes a pot-shot at Obama after the stirring at rallies by Palin, or even conduct fiddling with the automatic voting machines.
Maybe Sarah will take her moose gun and capture OBL all by herself :))

Let’s refer it to her ‘wolf-gun’ then or maybe ‘polar bear-gun’
Nevertheless best to stay away from the lipstick lady if you are a moose as you may risk being skinned, with pelt hanging on the back of her couch accompanying the bear skin she has already trophied. Bet you didn’t know she’s got crabs too.

As-Salamu 'Alaykum Ahl Al-Islam: Let it be known that there have been deceptions committed by Sen. Obama. Let it also be known that Sen. McCain shows clearly that if he were to rule, it would be no better than what we experience presently. Sen. Obama gained an increasing audience because of the matter of Iraq and US presence there. He has, though, not ruled out using pre-emptive strikes, invasion or coercion on other nations. He talks of removing troops from Iraq and increasing troops in Afghanistan. He shall be the same type of 'warhawk', but not in Iraq. The people of the US are satiated by that. Then there is the matter of AIPAC and other Israel lobby groups. He has cowed to them and gestures of assurance that he will be subjugated to them. In this shall we find no fair treatment or honest interactions with the US as pertains the matter of Palestine. Domestically Sen. Obama obtains or seduces more to vote for him. He promises health care coverage and reduced taxes for the masses. What he promises though shall be difficult to perform. There are the houses of Congress to consider as well. The President, if elected and questioned can always deflect blame for inefficiency to the Congress. "I'm just the President. I can suggest and even write a bill; it's for the Congress to pass it though." In that does he find evasion among humans from blame. 1/3 of the members of Congress are also up for election. Do not forget that.

I voted for a change,i voted for Obama yesterday,there were people next to me,waiting in line,some from Colombia,Cuba and Dominican Republic they told me they were voting for Obama,they were talking about how many soldier have died in Iraq,they have children too,they cared,even if they don't have children,they should care,it's so sad,may Allah have mercy over this country.Amen.I hope Obama wins,inshallah.
