Salams all, Ramadan is the month of the Quran so it's the best time to think deeply about what this noble Book means to us and how it impacts our lives.

Join us this coming Saturday, September 29, 2007 on the Youth 4 the Future radio broadcast at GMT 9:30 - we're talking 'Loving the Quran'!

Salamu Alaykum

It was reported in many traditional works that the Salaf used to totally occupy themselves with no other Ibadah but the Qur'an in Ramadan. Amodern scholar once said "if you want to speak to Allah then make Du'aa. If you want to listen to Allah nthen read the Qur'an. In Ramadan the reward doubles and sometimes more ; in addition, it is the month when the Qur'an was revealed to the heart of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH

Salamo 3alaykoum,

Ramadan kareem,

Actually, I believe that Quran changed my life greatly, and this case not only with me it happened with various people who recited Quran and memorized it. It is very significant to comprehend that it is very essential to recite the Quran carefully and understand its meanings. Comprehending the meaning of the Quran's verses is very essential. Quran helps us to be more patient and to alter our whole behavior to the better, and it assists us to be more committed to our Islamic rules and orders. In addition, it helps us to be closer to Allah the almighty. So it is very important to read it and understand its meanings.

Thanks

& Salamo 3alaykoum

Salams to all

I'm a young Muslim in Singapore, who's been searching for a platform where youth actually discuss the Quran in English; our interpretations of it and just how this Miraculous Book has changed us as human beings. MasyaAllah the wealth of knowledge and enlightenment from the Holy Quran is amazing, and I wish there were some place where youths - ourselves on the path of discovery- can share views and learn from each other, and forge a stronger bond with our fellow young brothers and sisters.

So glad to have come across this topic in the forum - anyone know of any online forums in English for youth?

Thanks
