Rachel stood courageously confronting an Israeli bulldozer to prevent it from destroying another Palestinian home in Rafah, Gaza. Although clearly visible and speaking through a megaphone, the bulldozer ran over her unarmed body, burying her in the ground.

Rachel’s death is a message of alarm to the government of the United States of America. This is not the first time that an American citizen loses her life on the hands of a strong US ally. It happened before with the Israeli assault on US Liberty in 1967, it happened before on the hands of the Iraqi government in its “friendship” days with the US, and it is happening now at the hands of Israel’s long supported acts of genocide.
