TRIPOLI, November 28 (Mercy for Mankind) – Non-stop effort, high
quality performance and a friendly smile that never disappears are
the slogan perfectly achieved by the media center of the seventh
general conference of the World Islamic Call Society (WICS) held in
Tripoli, November 26-29. The center's services, offered to both guests and journalists
alike, vary to cover every and each requirement any of them may need
to facilitate their job.
Copies of the conference's agenda, list of participants,
publications on and by the WICS activities, in addition to any other
stuff guests or reporters feel they may need are available on the
spot. Moreover, digital copies of everything are available, a matter
that many reporters have praised as it facilitated their job a great
deal. The tremendous efforts by the media center has played a great deal
in the instant and huge coverage of the conference's sessions in all
possible means and using the latest high technology means. Secretary of the WICS Committee of Research, Media and
Publishing, Mohamed Nasr Ajilani, told Mercy for Mankind Web site
that the efforts exerted by the media committee are only a part of
the efforts of the conference's organizing committee to ensure the
complete success of this huge Islamic gathering. Jilany added that there was a great response by the major media
corporations and outlets worldwide showed in their interest in
covering the conference's deliberations extensively.
"So, that placed a huge responsibility on our shoulders to live
up to the challenge." Engineer Adnan Al-Zarrouq, the technical coordinator of the media
center, also finds great happiness in offering help to all guests
and reporters. "We work around the clock to see this wonderful gathering a
success. It's true the staff of the media center does not stop
working day or night to be there for all participants. "All our pain and exhaustion disappear when we see the look of
content on everybody's face. We consider ourselves the front page of
the conference, so, we are keen on giving a good impression and we
ask Allah to help us succeed." Jilany further said that the activities of the WICS Committee of
Research, Media and Publishing are not only limited to the efforts
by the media center in this conference. "Our work never stops. We are always in touch with media centers
and organizations around the world to promote the ties of the WICS
