Hot Debates to Choose Conference Logo

TRIPOLI, November 25, (Mercy for Mankind) – Mercy for Mankind Web Site has been informed that long debates on the logo of the conference have taken place during the preparations for the seventh general conference of the World Islamic Call Society to be held in Tripoli from November 26-29.

It is also reported that the logo has been chosen following discussions around two options; the first was entitled "Undertaken by Man", while the second is "We have not sent you forth but a mercy for mankind".

The topics proposed for discussion regarding the first option were undertaking and disseminating the message, succession on earth, discarding corruption and finally faithfulness between idealism and realism.

Following the debates, it has been agreed to approve the logo of "We have not sent you forth but a mercy for mankind", provided that the concept of mercy, its generalization among mankind and the universality of Islamic call are dominant all through this concept.

Secretary of international conferences and authorities of the World Islamic Call Society Ibrahim Al-Rabo said that such choice is due to the international developments that are reflected on the call and cultural work, particularly after September 11 events in the United States.
