How can I register in the Matrimonial Service?
1. Visit the Matrimonial Service
2. If you are a member of Islam Online enter your username and password and click Submit, Then go to step 6.
3. If you are not a member in Islam Online click on the "Register now" button.
4. In the registration form that appears, enter your username, password and first name.
5. Once you have filled in your details, click on the "Submit" button once.
6. To complete your registration, fill the form with your and your spouse’s specification. The matrimonial details should be as descriptive as possible. Addresses should be only entered in the address box. Click on the "Submit" button once.
7. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail. Follow the instructions you find in that e-mail to complete you registration.
8. The administrator of the Matrimonial Service will review your membership. If your Membership information contains no offensive or inappropriate information and it is deemed acceptable you will be informed by e-mail and it will be posted on the net. If it is not accepted, it will be deleted and you will be informed of the reason by e-mail. This process will take a few days.
How can I edit my membership?
1. Visit the Matrimonial Service.
2. Enter your username and password. Click submit.
3. Click on Edit membership on the left bar.
4. Change the information you wish to change and click submit.
5. Your change will be reflected on the service as soon as the administrator approves it.
I forgot my password, what can I do?
1. Go here.
2. In the form that appears, answer the displayed question.
3. Click on the "submit" button
I am facing problems logging on to the service even though I am a registered user of the service and I am using the correct username and password?
If you reached a page with no log on option than please click the log out option on the page and then log On to the service again.
We also recommend that you make sure cookies are activated on your PC by doing the following:
1. Click on
Tools on the top menu bar.
2. Then click Internet Options.
3. After that click on
Privacy and choose either Low or Accept all cookies(the second option is preferred).

If you continue facing problems we recommend you try to clear your internet files and try the page again. You can clear your temporary internet files by doing the following:
1. Close all Islam Online Pages
2. Click on
Tools on the top menu bar.
3. Then click Internet Options.
4. Click on
Delete Files under Temporary internet files
Why has my membership been refused?
Your membership was refused because of one of the following reasons:
1. About me or the Spouse description was lacking in information, or not clear enough
2. About me or the Spouse description was a copy of the sample ad.
3. The language used in writing the information was not English.
4. It contained inappropriate language.
5. The member is not serious in looking for a spouse or is only looking for friendship.
How can I remove my ad?
Send us your username, password, Matrimonial name, and the e-mail you used in your profile so that we can remove your ad.
We would also appreciate it if you provide us with a reason why you are removing your ad. Were you successful with the service or did you face difficulties with it?
How can I look for other members on the Matrimonial Service?
It’s easy and free! Just click on Search. A simple to use search interface comes up. Here you can define your search criteria. After entering your options, click on the submit button.
You can also browse for our latest members or for members from a specific country by clicking on the "browse" button.
How can I send a Proposal to other members?
1. Visit the Matrimonial Service.
2. Enter your username and password. Click submit.
3. Choose the person you want to send the Proposal to. You can accomplish this by either choosing Search or Browse.
4. Click on the "Send Proposal" button that appear below the information of the member.
5. Enter your Proposal in the form that appears. Please do not enter any offensive or inappropriate information and do not include your address. If you do so, your Proposal will be edited or deleted.
6. Click on the Submit button.
How Can I view the Proposals or Replies I receive?
1. A letter will reach you informing you that you have received a Proposal or Reply.
2. Visit the Matrimonial Service.
3. Enter your username and password. Click submit.
4. You will find a list of the latest four Proposals and replies you received on your membership page. Click on the Proposal or Reply you wish to read. If the Proposal and Reply don’t appear on your membership page click on View Proposal or View Replies which you will find on the left bar then click on the Proposal or Reply you want to read.
5. If you haven’t replied to the Proposal or Reply you will be offered the option of Replying. Remember if you accept direct correspondence the other member will receive your e-mail address.
How can I Reply to a Proposal or Reply?
If you haven’t replied to the Proposal or Reply you are viewing you will be offered the option of Replying by filling a form and then clicking submit. Remember if you accept direct correspondence the other member will receive your e-mail address.
Why has my proposal been refused?
Your proposal was refused because of one of the following reasons:
1. The proposal contained no message.
2. It contained inappropriate language.
3. The member is not serious in looking for a spouse or is only looking for friendship.
4. More than 4 proposals were sent in the same day. We only accept the first 4 and refuse the rest.
In addition to what was mentioned above a proposal is edited if it contains an e-mail, a telephone number, or any kind of address. If this occurs the address is deleted and the following sentence is pasted:
## E-mail deleted, if you wish to send an e-mail choose the direct correspondence option when replying. Administrator.##
Why has my reply been refused?
Your reply was refused because of one of the following reasons:
1. The reply contained no message.
2. It contained inappropriate language.
3. The member is not serious in looking for a spouse or is only looking for friendship.
In addition to what was mentioned above a reply is edited if it contains an e-mail, a telephone number, or any kind of address. If this occurs the address is deleted and the following sentence is pasted:
