A Special Message to the Muslim Nation

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings
be upon Muhammad, the Leader of all Messengers; peace be upon his
kith and kin, his Companions, and those who adhere to his teachings
till the day of Judgment.
Dear brothers in Islam all over the world, I forward this message
to you from the place where the trees shed tears over the lost
birds, where the ponds have turned blood, where the wives have
become widows, the children have turned orphans, the dwelling
places have become prisons.
This is a Palestinian voice, from the land that witnessed the Night
Journey (Ascension to the Heavens) of Prophet Muhammad, peace and
blessings be upon him; it’s a voice echoing from the vicinity of
Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque, the first Prayer Direction (Qiblah)
for Muslims, and directed to the Muslim nation to wake up. I ask
you, all Muslims, to act like one man, to do something to stop this
massacre of Muslims, in Palestine, Afghanistan, and all over the
world.
All Muslims must stand together to repair the dilapidated structure
of Muslims unity, to come to the rescue of the suppressed, to
resist the aggression waged by America and international community
against Muslims. We shouldn’t give in to the pitiful fait
accompli! Rather, we should give hear to that hardly audible voice
of faith calling us to revive our strength, will and courage, to
sacrifice ourselves for our nation. We have to listen and yield to
that voice calling us to discard weakness and passivity, inviting
us to martyrdom, a key to real life, eternal success and happiness;
all this can’t be achieved through pursuit of worldly gains!
We do not have but one choice: to live or to die. This is the only
option to save our nation from oppression, to save our children,
women and old people. When innocent American people were killed
during the events of 11 September, the whole world rose up to
attack the Muslim nation, launching attacks against Afghanistan and
all Islamic movements that fight in the cause of Islam. They do so
for the sake of Israel. But for our innocent people killed here and
there, no one care a fig, as if they carried in them souls
different to those of the victims of Sept 11th incident.
Dear brothers in Islam, we have no alternative but showing
resistance and fighting in Allah’s cause; we have no alternative
but Jihad and martyrdom; we have no alternative but to sacrifice
ourselves for the sake of Islam, for the sake of our nation, that
should be ruled by Islamic teachings, and for the sake of freedom
and dignity. We should be guided by the following verse, {How many
of the prophets fought (in Allah's way), and with them (fought)
Large bands of godly men? but they never lost heart if they met
with disaster in Allah's way, nor did they weaken (in will) nor
give in. And Allah Loves those who are firm and steadfast. All that
they said was: "Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything We
may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet
firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith. And Allah gave
them a reward in this world, and the excellent reward of the
Hereafter. For Allah Loveth those who do good}. (Al `Imran:
145-146)
So, a great reward lies in fighting steadfastly in Allah’s cause.
Fearing death shouldn’t fill our hearts to the extent of
neglecting the duty of Jihad; we should bear in mind that sooner or
later we will all die; life is for us a temporary stay or something
like a short transit to heaven. Almighty Allah says, {Wheresoever
ye may be, death will overtake you, even though ye were in lofty
towers}. (An-Nisa`: 78)
O Muslims, wake up; return to the right path of your religion,
return to the Book of Allah, Exalted and Glorified be He, and the
traditions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. You
religion is the real source of power, for it is the last Message
from Allah to save mankind. But, alas, we do not make use of this
Message.
Only what we do is criticizing others, while we ourselves live in a
mess, disintegration, and dissolution. We should first check
ourselves first before casting aspersions on others
Dear sisters and brothers, dear Muslims everywhere, Jihad is an
individual duty on you; that is the only way for to put into
practice Allah’s teachings and to let the banner of Islam flutter
high in the breeze. That is the only way to free our countries and
ourselves from the oppressive people who occupy our lands. It is a
battle of life and death, a battle of victory or martyrdom.
This is the path that we should tread; this is the path of dignity
and honor; this is the path of decent life. We should go through
this path, so that we can rebuild the Muslim nation. He who thinks
that there is any other path for achieving this is living in
illusion. It suffices to delve into the luminous pages of the
history; to read the biography of Allah’s Messenger, peace and
blessings be upon him, and that of his Companions, to know how wide
apart we are from those golden era of Islam. The countries you live
in now, had it not been for the Companions and their Successors who
sacrificed themselves for the sake of Islam, there wouldn’t have
been any trace of Islam therein.
Those who think that the glory of the Muslim nation can be restored
without Jihad are laboring under illusion and pursuing mirage that
will drive them to ruin. Jihad is the sword that defends right;
right without sword cannot be attained, and sword without right is
blind to truth, and it’s bond to be despotic.
