Allah is Greatest, Allah is Greatest, Allah is Greatest,
Allah is Greatest ! Praise be to Allah ! When Allah
commands His servants to say "Allah is Greatest" in
Adhan (Call to Prayer), Prayer, and `Ed, and urges
Muslims to wholeheartedly chant these sweet and
beautiful words of praise and glory, that, despite of
being soft on the tongue, are heavy on the scales...
Because of deteriorating economic situations caused by the
Israeli siege on Palestinian cities, many people buy their
clothing for `Eid from these markets. Speaking to IslamOnline, the traders said that the rate of
the people coming to these markets have increased nearly
30 per cent from the rates before Ramadan, and that is due
to the continuing Israeli siege on Palestinian lands and
the increase of the unemployment and the lack of spending
money.
Ghusl (Taking a Bath) One of the manners of `Eid
is to take a bathe before going out to the prayer. It is
reported in a saheeh report in Al-Muwatta' and elsewhere
that 'Abd-Allah Ibn 'Umar used to take a bath on the day
of Al-Fitr before coming to the prayer-place. (Al-Muwatta'
428)..
