Americans Slam Gaza Onslaught
Thousands took to the streets across the US to call for an end to the Israeli onslaught against Gaza, which killed 390 people and injured 1,800 in five days. In Washington, protesters gathered outside the State Department to urge an end to military aid to Israel. In Los Angeles, protestors marched near the Israeli Consulate for halting the "Genocide of Palestinians." In Hawaii, another rally was staged in front of president-elect Barack Obama's vacation compound.
