Malaysia Proposes OIC Meeting on Corruption
Malaysia has proposed, Wednesday, June 29, 2005, to convene a meeting of officials of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) engaged in the fight against corruption. In a note submitted at the ongoing 32nd Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers (ICFM) in the Yemeni capital Sana'a, Malaysia proposed to hold the meeting in Kuala Lumpur, just before the 2nd World Ethics and Integrity Forum scheduled for July next year in conjunction with the first anniversary of Malaysia's Anti-Corruption Academy.
