Eight Killed in Gaza: Israeli Offensive Continues 
At least 8 Palestinians, including children, were killed and many others wounded on the sixth day of a massive Israeli offense in the Gaza Strip, Monday, October 4, 2004. Among the dead were four Palestinian members of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas. The Israeli military chief warned that the troops were there to stay. The death brought to 73 the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since troops swarmed into the densely populated Gaza Strip last Tuesday, October 29.
