US Air Strikes on Fallujah Kill 15 Civilians
US warplanes pounded the Iraqi city of Fallujah, killing at least 8 civilians and wounding 22 others, including women and children, on Saturday night, September 25, 2004. At least two homes in the area were destroyed in the attack. A previous air strike on the city early Saturday killed 7 and wounded 11. The US military claimed that it targeted hideouts of Abu Mussab Al-Zarqawi and his followers, but Iraqi medics said all of the victims were civilians.
