University students fire homemade mortars against the National Police headquarters, at the Sun Square in Managua, Nicaragua, Tuesday, May 18, 2004. Clashes between students and the police continued on the second day of protests against the government, who was ordered to assign 6% of the national budget to universities by the Supreme Court of Justice, but said it did not have the funds to comply.
