confrontation between Muslim groups in the south and the Thai
authorities have cost many Muslim lives. Muslims in southern Thailand
have constantly complained from discrimination and government abuse.
This morning, a new cycle of
confrontation
made its mark as an armored inspection train came under attack in the
southern province of Narathiwat by militants after a blast detonated
by a mobile phone.
