The Sacrificial Animal: Cruelty or Mercy?

20/01/2003

Much controversy has surrounded the ritual slaughter of animals in the past months. As `Eid Al-Adha knocks on our doors, the debate intensifies. What is the wisdom of Islam in the slaughter? IslamOnline's scholars, writers and readers have attempted to answer these questions and more.
