Masjid Istiqlal

Masjid Istiqlal in Jakarta is the largest masjid in Indonesia, and one of the largest mosques in South East Asia. The government of Indonesia built this masjid as a symbol of gratefulness to Allah for granting Indonesia its freedom.

Four Minaret Mosque

Located in the predominantly Muslim region of Bashkortastan, the mosque is a two-story structure that is square in plan and flanked by four 56 m minarets. The program includes a service hall for 500 women, a conference room, classrooms, a library, and a main prayer hall for 1,200 worshippers. The mosque is built using a steel frame with brick infill.

Al-Qiblatain Mosque

Al-Qiblatain Mosque is an old mosque dating from the time of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. It was originally built by Bani Salamah, who were of the Al-Khazraj tribe, on a small hill near Wadi Al-`Aqeeq. It is five kilometres northwest of the Prophet’s Mosque.
