His Mercy Outweighs His Wrath

By Sheikh Muhammad Ali Al-Hanooti

People are always so quick to judge each other. They label others in a very unjust and unfair, stereotyping way. That is not the guidance of Islam, but the misguidance of the non-Muslims. A good Muslim is the one who acts like a doctor when they pass by any person who looks sick or unhealthy. The doctor usually appreciates the good things that person has and starts thinking about how he can help that sick or unhealthy person. His success is how he can cure the person of disease.

Why do we criticize people because of what wrong they have or they do when we don’t extend our hands or approach these people with good advice and honest struggle to help them to get back on track to righteousness and good commitment to faith?

We are people of da’wah, but not judges or police officers. We are the most compassionate when we see the worst of a Muslim. That is what others need.
