LONDON,
April 2 (IslamOnline.net) – Sibel Edmonds joined the camp of Richard
Clarke in an interview Friday, April 2.
The
former FBI whistleblower said the U.S. officials knew of plans to
attack Washington and New Work on September 11, 2000 months before.
“It
was impossible that U.S. intelligence officials had no forewarning of
the attacks,” she told The Independent.
From
the documents she saw, Edmonds said, it was clear that there was
sufficient information in spring and summer of 2001 to indicate that
an attack was being planned.
She
slammed claims by national security advisor Condoleezza Rice that
there had been no such warnings was “an outrageous lie”.
“There
were other cities that were mentioned. Major cities -- with
skyscrapers.”
In
another related development, the White House has not turned over
thousands of pages of documents from the Clinton administration to a
commission investigating the 9/11.
Even
though the records are relevant to the panel's mission, one of
Clinton's attorneys told the Washington Post.
The
paper probes justifications and consequences of the seal.
