CITY, February 28 (IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) - Pursuing its
policy of assassinating Palestinian resistance activists, an Israeli
helicopter gunship fired three missiles at a car in the north of the
Gaza City on Saturday, February 28, killing at least three people.
More
than fifteen people were seriously injured in the Israeli raid,
including a child in a life-threatening condition.
Palestinians
security sources said the Israeli Apache, backed by an F-16 fighter
jet, fired its missiles at the car and completely destroying it in
Saftawi neighborhood, reported Agence France-Presse (AFP).
They
named one of the victims as Amin al-Dahduh, an activist of the
resistance group Islamic Jihad movement.
Al-Dahduh
was traveling in the car with his brother, Ayman.
The
third victim, whose identity was not immediately clear, was a
bystander, the security sources said.
The
latest deaths brought the number of people killed since the
Palestinian Intifada broke out against the Israeli occupation in
September 2000, to 3,789, including 2,835 Palestinians and 886
Israelis, according to a toll kept by AFP.
