GAZA
CITY, November 7 (IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) – Israeli
occupation forces killed four Palestinians, including a 11-year-old
child, overnight and early on Friday, November 7.
Mahmud
al-Qayed, 11, was killed Friday by shrapnel from an Israeli tank shell
in the northern Gaza Strip Friday, reported Agence France-Presse
(AFP).
He
was hit in his chest as he was playing with a friend near the Karni
crossing point between the northeastern Gaza Strip and Israel,
Palestinian medical sources and witnesses said.
The
child's death capped a night of Israeli attacks in the Strip which
claimed a total of four Palestinians dead.
A
Palestinian resistance activist was reported dead around the same time
Friday morning, after his body was found on the site of an overnight
exchange of fire with Israeli troops, Palestinian medical sources
said.
Al-Aqsa
Martyrs Brigades member Nazmi al-Najar, 30, was involved in a clash
with the Israeli occupation army near the separation wall between
southeastern Gaza Strip and Israel late Thursday, November 6.
His
cousin Mohammad al-Najar, 21, had already been reported killed in the
same incident.
In
a separate clash, a resistance fighter from the armed wing of Hamas
was also killed by the Israeli army overnight in the central Gaza
Strip.
The
latest deaths brought the total number of people killed since the
outbreak of Al-Aqsa Intifada against the Israeli occupation to 3,597,
including 2,682 Palestinians and 849 Israelis, according to an AFP
count.
