Foiled On El Al Flight to Istanbul: Israeli Radio

JERUSALEM, November 17 (IslamOnline & News Agencies) - Security
guards of Israeli carrier El Al foiled a hijack attempt on a Tel
Aviv-Istanbul flight late Sunday, November 17, Israeli public radio
reported.
According
to initial reports, the would-be hijackers, apparently an Israeli Arab,
tried to enter the cockpit but was swiftly overpowered by El Al guards
on the plane, Agence France-Presse (AFP) said.
It
said flight El Al's flight 561 with 170 passengers on board landed
without trouble at Istanbul airport.
Al-Jazeera
correspondent said that this report can be false or a misunderstanding,
as Arab Israelis are subject to provocative security measures, so the
man could have lost his temper due to such measures
