TEL AVIV, April 16 (IslamOnline & News Agencies) – An Israeli psychiatrist asserted that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is a bloody character that feels insecure, a German newspaper reported Tuesday.
In an interview published by Der Spiegel magazine, Tel Aviv University Professor, Hiem Omeir, charged “both Sharon and (besieged Palestinian President Yasser) Arafat fear one another”.
“That’s why Sharon resorts to maximum military intensification to prove his strength and power over Arafat and the Palestinians,” added Omeir.
“The best way out of this bloody standoff is the negotiating table. Both sides need to agree on borders, because this is in the interests of both peoples. But Sharon is not aware of such interests. Violence within his character makes him always resort to bloody methods.
“Sharon’s first choice is, and will always be, violence and blood. Sharon is even more bloody than (former Israeli Prime Minister Bejamin) Netinyaho who always had other choices than violence,” added the Israeli shrink.
At the end of his interview, Omeir expressed his hope that the U.S. would practice serious pressure on Israel because “it is for the best of everyone”.
