50 Palestinians Dead In Day 9 Of Offensive, 24 Hours After U.S. Halt Demand

NABLUS, April 7 (IslamOnline)- The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced Sunday that the number of martyrs in the West Bank cities during the Israeli aggression over the last ten days are 108. However, journalists reported that the figure could increase to 238 martyrs due to the bodies that remain undiscovered under the rubble.
Ministry sources told IslamOnline over the phone that 28 Palestinians fell martyrs in Nablus and 18 of them were buried Sunday in a mass grave in the old city.
Moreover, 44 others fell martyrs during Israeli raids on the West Bank refugee camp of Jenin that the occupation force failed to occupy since last week due to the fierce Palestinian resistance.
Fifteen Palestinians were killed, the vast majority Christians, in Beit Jala and Bethlehem. Two of them were killed inside the besieged Nativity church in Bethlehem.
Twelve Palestinian youths were killed in the cities of Tulkaram and Qalqilia, and nine Palestinians were killed in the city of Tobas.
In the meantime, journalists told IslamOnline that the number of people buried under the rubble in the cities of Jenin and Nablus could reach 130.
It is worth noting that ambulances are unable to transport the wounded due to the obstacles imposed by the occupation soldiers.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army chief-of-staff, Shaul Mofaz, announced that 200 Palestinians were killed during the Israeli military operations during the last ten days. Mofaz added that there are 1500 wounded.
According to the statements he made to the Israeli site of Yediot Ahranot Sunday, 13 Israeli occupation soldiers were killed and 130 others were wounded during Palestinian retaliatory operations. Twenty of them suffer serious wounds.
Mofaz said that the Israeli military operations in the Palestinian territories would need to last another eight weeks before they can completely destroy the Palestinian nation that he referred to as the terrorist network.
