100,000 Palestinians Gather for Nablus Funeral, Call for Vengeance
Nearly 100,000 Palestinians
massed in the West Bank town of Nablus Wednesday for the
funeral of four Islamic activists, two children and two
journalists killed Tuesday in an Israeli attack, crying
vengeance against Israel and any of their brethren caught
aiding the Jewish state.
Uday Saddam Hussein Denies Shiite Conversion
Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's
elder son Uday denied Wednesday reports he had embraced Shiite
beliefs, stressing he remains a Sunni Muslim, like his father
and family, news agencies reported.
