David Holt has a doctorate in comparative politics from the University of Chicago. He is the director of the Cairo-based Middle East Studies Program, sponsored by the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities in Washington, DC. Holt has lived in Cairo, Egypt, and traveled throughout the Middle East for the last four years. His other academic interests include comparative religion and history.

Lori Lipman Brown, Esq., is the Director of the Secular Coalition for America (www.secular.org), a non-profit 501C4 advocacy group, which lobbies the Congress on behalf of non-theistic Americans. She identifies herself as a humanistic Jew and an atheist.
