Violence
is never positive. Violence breeds more violence. Often people
get confused about the meaning and use of this word and think
they can be violent in order to defend right and so on. But this
is not so.
When
defending what is right, and when defending yourself, your home,
your country, your way of life – other words are used like
self defense and assertiveness. Because there is a clear
intention behind your actions in such cases, the end is positive
even if you fail. Such acts are colored with feelings of
nobleness and self sacrifice and these actions are not based on
revenge or anger.
Violence,
on the other hand, is based on another intention and the outcome
is always bad and negative. When there is violence there will
always be a victim including the perpetrator who falls a victim
of his/her own violence.
