The question of Palestine is a question of a struggle for the
resource of land and
all it brings with it. This section examines the history of a land which has remained
a central focus of international politics over the millennia. Sanctity of the land and
attachment to it is inherent in Palestinian culture.
To
the Palestinian people the land itself is life and security. Land
confiscation has quite simply torn apart their lives.
The conquest of Palestine is not merely a matter of the outcome of
two wars, 1948
and 1967, it is an ongoing process on both sides of the Green Line (the 1967 border).
