Around
47 percent of the Palestinian population still lives in the land defined
under the British
Mandate as Palestine. Across the country, from Nazareth to
Nablus, Jerusalem to Gaza City, there are still Palestinians living in
their original homes, but a vast proportion are refugees, many living
for over half a century in substandard refugee camps. This section looks
at the lives of those living in Palestinian land occupied in 1948 and
1967.
