Our faith is more
powerful than the US government’s hegemonic will. Let us all fast and pray for peace in
Iraq and all over the world. Let us make Thursday, March 13, a day of
fasting and prayer for people of all beliefs. Let us all unite in
fasting and prayer for all victims of oppression.
March 13
coincides with the 10th of Muharram, when it is highly recommended
for Muslims to fast, and it falls into the Christian Lenten Fast
season.
Together, we can stop the war!
