Wednesday,
August 10, 2005 – Plan Follow-up
Started
off quite well this morning! Got up at 6.30 and had my weetabix with banana and
some sugar free juice, and then did my exercise video (which is starting to get
boring, even though I've only done it for a week and a bit).
It's
half jumping about and half toning but to counteract the boredom I can read
during the toning bits. Got ready for college and made my lunch: an apple and an
orange, two mini 'healthy-eating' naan breads, some salad, bean salad and
homemade (yes, homemade!) hummous. So far so good, although I'm still bussing it
to work. Gave my apple to a friend who'd not had any brekkie.
Because
I'd eaten so early, I was hungry again by half ten, and it's quite embarrassing
when your stomach rumbles in front of your lecturers. Couldn't justify eating my
lunch so early because it had to last me until 5, so went to the vending machine
(the guilt!) and had a bag of wotsits and a milky way, which is only half the
size of a real chocolate bar. But maybe I should have had a cup of tea or
similar.

Had
my lunch and some water at half twelve and felt really full afterwards, but by
the time I got home at 5, I was really hungry again, and everything went to pot:
a Boost chocolate bar and a (very small, but that's not the
point!)
cheesecake from the corner shop. And then for my dinner I made tomato pasta from
a packet (so synthetic, but so quick), but I only ate half of it.
So,
all in all, not very good. But I've promised myself to do my video again before
I go to bed, to try and make up. Anything to try and rebalance the input/output!
Oh well, tomorrow is a new day, and writing my confessions in a public place is
certainly an incitement to behave.
Am
trying to drum up support for the local Muslim women's exercise group by making
some posters to put up round the mosque. I'm quite good at encouraging other
people to be healthy - after all, that's what I'm being trained to do - so why
can't I take my own advice?!
