The Scottish Couple who are carrying 1.5 tons of medicines from Scotland to Gaza as a gift from the Scottish parliament and people are still standing a few meters outside the gate into Gaza at Rafah crossing on the Egyptian side.
Entering that medicines into Gaza demanding that Khalil and Linda would finish some papers first and coordinate with the Palestinian representative in Al- Arish.
At First, they were asked to drive the van away from Rafah crossing towards El Arish, but later after hours of negotiations the van remained at the crossing and the couple went to Al-Arish to finish the routine papers.
The trip from Scotland to Rafah to deliver these medicines passed through 12 countries where they were turned back by the Croatian authorities, and had to drive through Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria, while others like Syria were very cooperative.
The couple are working on bringing the wanted papers and they're determined to deliver the medicines into Gaza. They also threatened that they'll start a hunger strike in a few days if they weren't allowed to enter Gaza and deliver the medicines.
