Al-Aqsa Foundation published "maps and
documents" revealed for the first time about the Israeli scheme
to demolish Bab Almaghareba and the Islamic monuments and replace them
with a military bridge and a Jewish synagogue.
Those maps and documents show the scale of
destruction and demolition which would affect the Islamic monuments
and buildings next to the western wall and part of Al-Aqsa mosque in
addition to the establishment of a Jewish synagogue. Bab AlBuraq,
located directly under Bab Almaghareba and AlBuraq mosque, will be
exposed, which makes it easy to storm buildings under Al Aqsa mosque.
Some maps show the falsification of history as they consider the
monuments and buildings of Al-Aqsa and its surrounding as parts of
Temple I and II, a scheme that will continue over five years .
Al-Aqsa Foundation said: "We were able to
obtain maps and documents of Bab Almaghareba bridge, which Israel is
planning to construct, as the demolition of Bab Almaghareba continued
since 6/2/2007. Maps show that this bridge is a military one by all
means, as its width reaches 18 meters on both sides of Bab
Almaghareba, targeting 18 meters from the Western Wall of Al-Aqsa
Mosque. Maps also show clearly the establishment of a big Jewish
synagogue after the demolition of large parts of Islamic monuments and
buildings from the First Islamic and Umawi to Ottoman eras.
The military bridge will be built on 16 big columns
and the door of AlBuraq mosque, will be exposed directly, this is what
they call falsely and slanderously Brakli door which they consider one
of the doors of the alleged Temple. This makes it easier to seize Al
Buraq mosque inside Al-Aqsa. Thus, the road will be opened directly to
storm the buildings under Al-Aqsa Mosque. Historical and
archaeological forgery is clear. They consider the Arab and Islamic
historical buildings over the centuries as Jewish which indicate that
all plans aim at Judaizing the surroundings of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and
accelerate its gradual destruction steps by Israel to build the
alleged temple at the expense of Al Aqsa Mosque."
