To Integrate or Not To Integrate?

As European Muslims continue to redefine themselves in their communities, IslamOnline.net continues to serve as a platform to introduce different attempts among European Muslim intellectuals and activists to reevaluate their positions. *Bashy Quraishy is the president of the European Network Against Racism (ENAR) and a member of the EU Commission’s High Level Group on Integration in Belgium.

**Ajmal Masroor is a member of the national consultative body of the Islamic Society of Britain, a grassroots organization that works to educate and create awareness about Islam through communities in the United Kingdom . Masroor is a khatib and leads Friday prayers in rotation in four mosques around London. He studied politics and Arabic and holds a diploma in counseling and a master’s degree in Islamic studies.
