Salam, 

Nobody can deny that being a new Muslim is quite difficult. 
Problems like wearing the hijab, not drinking alcohol, and 
not being able to take time off work to go to the Jumu`ah 
Prayers on Friday. One of the major problems that face new 
converts is how to treat their family during the holiday 
seasons, whether or not a Muslim could attend Thanksgiving 
or Christmas or Hanukkah festivals, and how to tell your 
kids that there is no Santa.

Looking forward to sharing your feelings, experiences and 
solutions on how a new Muslim could live through the 
holiday season. How are you planning to spend the coming 
few weeks?
