Nowadays, Muslims live in an unprecedented status of
humility and weakness, they have their lands occupied and
their sacred sites and texts desecrated; they suffer both
the external foreign hegemony and the internal tyrannical
regimes; in addition, many Muslims have a crisis of
identity; they are impressed by the amazing Western
advancement which made them vulnerable to its materialist
ideology. On the other hand, we have some other Muslims
whose hearts are torn apart by this disgraceful status,
but, unfortunately, they do not realize the proper way to
rectify the status of the Ummah.

This miserable situation makes it the duty of every Muslim
to engage in a comprehensive process of change that
emanates from within the Ummah itself and involves both the
individual and collective efforts. The month of Ramadan is
a high time to remind Muslims of this important issue and
to present them with a roadmap to change and restoration of
the glory of the Ummah.

But what kind of change do you expect? Is it at the
individual level or the community level?

What are the things that need to be changed?

Do Muslims have a problem with change? Are they ready for
that crucial change?

What are the keys of that change?
