The Hamas leader in Gaza was reported to have died after
been seriously injured in an attack on his vehicle.
Early reports suggest Abdel Aziz Rantissi's car was hit by
missiles. Israel tried to kill Rantissi, the public face of
Hamas Palestinian militant group last June.
On that occasion he and his teenage son were wounded in an
Israeli helicopter missile strike on his car, also in Gaza
City.
