I noticed in the press recently an increasing wave of
arguments towards a one-state solution for the conflict in
the Middle East. Many now argue that, due to the actions of
the Israeli government, and with the pressure the
separation wall is creating on the Palestinians and how it
separates them from their schools, farms and jobs, the two-
state solution is no longer viable. In fact, it has become
impossible. But I'm not sure how a one state shared by two
hating people can ever be established. Would the Israelis
even consider an option such as that? I seriously doubt it.
