They know very well that this is a very insulting thing to the arab population. I am disgusted that they are doing this know full well that its a great insult to the people. To top it off, you have this stupid prick tossing a Qur'an, therefore, deserving a nice shot in the arm he used to toss it, or a good beating. Its like some guy taking a bible in church and lighting it on fire.....that guy would deserve a good whipping. Im starting to get tired of these stories of soldiers disrespecting the people,and now the religion, its time they learn some damn manners or civility before they ask for a good gun fight.
