The military build up of both the United States and Great
Britain in the Middle East over the possibility of the
invasion of Iraq undermines the moral and ethical values
humanity stand for and believes in as a whole.

There is no justification for the United States and Britain
to bomb, invade and overthrow the government of Iraq over
the baseless allegations that it is hiding weapons of mass
destruction.

Both countries have so far and continue to fail to convince
the world with clear evidence that Iraq is breaching United
Nations resolutions.

The only evidence they have come up so far with is from
mysterious “intelligent sources.”

Both countries have stood up behind Saddam during the Iraq
and Iran war.

I wonder where was the United States and Britain when
Saddam used his weapons of mass destruction against the
Kurds?

The entire world is against this war that would only lead
to more extremism, terrorism and hatred toward the West in
general.

This war would make our global village a dangerous place to
live in. The United States and its allies will set up a
dangerous precedent that would jeopardize the peaceful
coexistent between nations and countries.

People in the world used to believe in the human rights
values that the United States and western countries stand
for.

That is why they always try to immigrate to these countries
especially the Untied States. They used to call it
the “land of opportunity.”

But unfortunately, due to its poor and double standard
toward foreign affairs especially the current Iraq crisis,
their beliefs in those values have been severely shaken and
badly shattered.

The United States is acting arrogant. With the mighty power
it posses, it is acting as the solder and the judge of the
world.

People around the planet do not buy the unfounded arguments
that George Bush and Tony Blair always use in their
speeches to justify their invasion of Iraq. Many people are
suspecting about their real and true aim to invade Iraq.

Dr. Yusuf Qaradawi, a well-known Muslim scholar has
recently stated in a lecture at the Central London Mosque
that the aim of the United States and Great Britain are
three things: the brilliant minds of Iraq referring to the
scientists, the oil, and to protect Israel and make sure
that it is the only super power that exist in the region.

This war would bring nothing but destruction to the country
of Iraq.

It would also bring hatred and mistrust between the Arab
and Muslim world and the United States and its allies.

The entire region would be like a burning fire. The only
side that would win this war is the side of extremism and
fanaticism.

The United States and its allies must put an end to their
initiative to initiate an unprovoked and unjust war. And
the world should continue its noble protest against this
war.
