Tip:
The default search is keywords anywhere. This is the best option
when doing a keyword search. Select one or two words or a short
phrase that accurately describe your topic and reflect all of the
ideas that you want to find information about. Enter your words to
search in the search box.
Boolean
operators
Use
one or more of the following to combine words:
AND
- use this operator to narrow your search results by combining two
multiple ideas (e.g. education AND history) or two different fields
(e.g. London AND Willey).
OR
- use this operator to expand your search results by combining to
different spellings (e.g. Hani OR Hany) or two related ideas (e.g.
culture OR tradition).
NOT
- use this operator to exclude from your search results by combining
to similar fields or two related items (e.g. information NOT
library) will return works that discuss information only.

of the words - use this option to return matches with one or
more of the words in your query that could be found in the selected

of the words - use this option to return matches with all the

Exact
phrase - use this option to return matches with all the words

match your word pattern.

Use
one or both of the date boxes to limit your search period as
follows:

particular year (e.g. 1998).

type in the first box the starting Year and in the second the ending
Year to search for a particular range (e.g. 1998 - 2000).

Sort
records by - use this preference to sort your search results

Custom
view - use this preference to specify your search results by
title, title and author, or full view records.

per page - use this preference to limit the number of
listings to appear on each search results page by 20, 40, or 60
records.
Display
format - use this preference to limit the type of search
results to all, records only, records with reviews, or records with
abstracts.
